Just noticed on the news that Leeds Ladies football team are in trouble because Leeds Met are not giving them the funding they need to stay in the league. Might it be an idea to see if there is anything the Trust can do? They did used to be the Leeds United Ladies team.

Whats your thoughts?

Could we send out an email to the members to give them the option of signing the petition as well? I only heard about it today and I doubt many others will have.

The Ladies team are back under the umbrella of Leeds United and it looks as if their sponsorship by Ringways also worked out.
Unfortunately this is too late for the Leeds Ladies to be included in the newly formed top flight ladies league next season as we have missed the chance of a franchise.
From being one of the top ladies teams in the country it now seems that Leeds Ladies will continue, but with a far lower profile in future.
