Business Cards

Post by Super Cell on Thu Jan 14, 2010 2:11 pm

Seriously!!!

On the steps of Billy's a fellow smoker, not involved in the proceedings, asked who we were - were we the Supporters Club? I explained not and that we were the Supporter's Trust. He was an ordinary member of the public and the type of fan who probably wouldn't get involved voluntarily.

If I'd had a card, or some leaflet or something I could have passed it on there and then. As it was, despite me giving the name clearly, I suspect that he'll have forgotten it by the time he gets home.

Just a thought Smile

Perish the thought Laughing

Only joking chaps-could do with Mexborough White on board-loads to offer and an all round good guy.

Business cards are a good idea and very effective in promoting the Trust afro

Business cards are as cheap as chips, although to make the right impression I guess it would have to incorporate the new logo (when chosen) which would up the cost.

It's not as if we'd need thousands. An initial 500 run would more than suffice in conjunction with the other initiatives that will no doubt come to the fore.

We got some cards printed up for a forum that I am a member of, they work a treat!

Simple logo, with the forum web address.

As you say, people forget URLs, so a card is an excellent way to spread the word. You get home, empty your pockets, "Oh yeah, that page that fella mentioned" and they get online. Easy.

I think this is a good idea, just something simple that we can all have just so we don't lose any opportunities when we speak to people at matches / pubs etc
